ABSTRACT
The Gi:NPOP2 microcomputer program was developped as an aid to the teaching of Basic Population Genetics. It was write in portuguese and simulates deterministically the following evolutive proccesses: natural selection, migration and equilibria within sex-linked alleles. The GENPOP2 program also simulates stochastically the genetic drift proccess. The GENPOP2 program is available free of charge upon request
Keywords: genpop2; program; basic; teaching; population; genetics; microcomputers.
