ABSTRACT

A total of 488 individuals from five populations of four South American Indian tribes was tested, and the results were compared to those of eleven other populations of this ethnic group. At a level of genetic dissimilarity of 0.15, four clusters could be discerned, but no clear relationship between the variability in this system and the amount of solar radiation could be detected

Keywords: polymorphism; isoelectric; american; indians.
