ABSTRACT
The cranial shape of three caviine rodent genera was analyzed. Multivariate statistical analysis showed that the similarity in cranial shape is probably due to the convergence with size in the ontogenetic trajectories, estimated by regression analysis of individual scores derived from principal components analysis of morphometric cranial traits.
