ABSTRACT
We report on 26 isolated patients presenting variable types of amelia that ranged from unilateral (brachial or crural) mono-amelia to complete tetra-amelia. The spectrum of the associated anomalies present in these patients as well as the evolution, family data and personal (familial) antecedents were presented. Clinical and genetical aspects of the amelia syndrome(s) were discussed.
